My google code project has my latest patches and source code.. For the above, the plugins are in the green box on the right and are called [SW] Weighted Grid Generator.plugin.zip and [SW] Weighted Grid Renderer.plugin.zip.

These are two custom patches I made for Quartz Composer. Feel free to use or modify them, just let me know because I would be interested to see how people use it.

If you make changes to the code can you please send the updated file back to me and I will update this version.

They generate and render a grid, where each cell is given a weight depending on how much red is in the corresponding section on the given image. It's kinda hard to say in words so I have made a video which will hopefully explain it better and show how to use the patches.

These patches allows you to detect amounts of movement in a section of an image.
